Manage Alerts & Notifications

TenantCore uses Alerts for issues in the application and Notifications for proactive email delivery.

Review alerts

Open Alerts to review infrastructure conditions that TenantCore has detected. Use the Open and Resolved views to separate current conditions from issues that have already recovered or been resolved. Depending on the event, an alert can identify:
  • affected tenant/domain/mailbox
  • severity
  • current state
  • measured condition
  • recommended next action

Acknowledge or resolve

Where the UI supports it, you can acknowledge or resolve alerts individually or in bulk. Resolving an alert does not erase its historical operational event from Reports.

Configure the notification email

Open Settings and review the notification email. By default, TenantCore can use the signed-in user’s email address. Update it if operational notifications should go to a different monitored mailbox.

Proactive email

TenantCore can send proactive emails for supported events such as:
  • critical infrastructure changes
  • recovery
  • Automatic DNS completion
  • location changes
  • reputation warnings
  • restriction/recovery events
Exact notification controls depend on plan and feature.

Base plan behavior

Base includes proactive email notifications for critical events. Plus and Complete include broader notification capabilities associated with their additional automation and monitoring features.

Use Reports for history

Alerts answer what needs attention now. Reports provides the historical record after the alert is resolved.
