# Connect Smartlead

> Connect TenantCore-created mailboxes to a Smartlead integration.

# Connect Smartlead

TenantCore can connect supported TenantCore mailboxes to Smartlead and track the resulting connection state.

## Before you begin

You need:

* Plus, Complete, or the Plus trial
* a Smartlead account
* a Smartlead integration configured in TenantCore
* a TenantCore-created mailbox

## Add Smartlead

1. Open **Integrations**.
2. Add or open **Smartlead**.
3. Enter the credential requested by TenantCore.
4. Save the integration.
5. Run the provider test.

## Connect a mailbox

1. Open the mailbox sending connection.
2. Choose Smartlead.
3. Review the mailbox credentials if shown.
4. Start the provider connection.
5. Complete any Microsoft/provider authorization required.
6. Return to TenantCore and confirm the connection state.

## If the connection fails

Check:

* the provider integration still tests successfully
* the mailbox is not already active on a different sending integration
* the mailbox credentials are current
* the browser did not block the provider/Microsoft popup

Retry from TenantCore after correcting the underlying issue.
