# Connect Porkbun

> Connect a Porkbun account so TenantCore can automate DNS for supported domains.

# Connect Porkbun

Connect Porkbun to use TenantCore Automatic DNS for domains hosted in your Porkbun account.

## Before you begin

Make sure:

* the domain is hosted in the Porkbun account you are connecting
* your Porkbun API credentials are active
* Automatic DNS is included in your TenantCore plan

## Connect the provider

1. Open **Settings** or the DNS-provider connection area in TenantCore.
2. Choose **Porkbun**.
3. Enter the credentials requested by TenantCore.
4. Save the connection.
5. Run the provider test if prompted.

TenantCore keeps provider credentials server-side.

They are not returned through the Complete public API after the provider is connected.

## Use Porkbun with a domain

After the provider connection is healthy:

1. add the domain to the appropriate TenantCore tenant
2. open the domain DNS workflow
3. choose **Automatic DNS**
4. review the planned records
5. start provisioning

TenantCore will use the connected Porkbun account only for TenantCore-owned domain resources associated with your account.

## If the test fails

Check:

* the API credentials are correct
* Porkbun API access is enabled
* the domain is in the expected account
* the provider has not restricted the request

You can always use manual DNS while provider access is being corrected.
